JR Farms was founded by Olawale, Rotimi Opeyemi who is also the CEO of JR Farms global operations. He’s a leading agric entrepreneur, recognised young leader in Africa’s agricultural sector and international speaker who has addressed global audience at high level meetings of various institutions such as The Commonwealth, Harvard, Wilton Park, African Union, UN FAO Africa, ILO, Switzerland Government, MIT among others.

Olawale holds a Bachelor and Master Degrees in Religion; he also holds executive certificate in Agribusiness Management Programme from the Lagos Business School and Executive MBA in Food and Agribusiness in Netherlands.

Through his initiatives, he has created several jobs and mentored hundreds of young Africans in Botswana, Cameroon, DRC, Niger, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Rwanda, Ghana, Senegal, South Africa, and other parts of Africa respectively.

Ajibike Olawale is the co-founder of JR Farms Nigeria Limited; an agribusiness company that is determined to transform agriculture in Africa by undertaking opportunities to engender sustainable food production and increased income for African farmers- with projects in Nigeria, Rwanda and Zambia; and notable working relationship and partnerships with global organizations such as Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, International Labour Organization among others.

She holds a B.Sc. in Management Information System from Covenant University; and executive certificates in Entrepreneurship Essentials from Harvard Business School Online and Personal Effectiveness and time management from Lagos Business School respectively.

In 2017, she was recognized as the Young Entrepreneur of the week by Africa Development Bank (AFDB) Food Cuisine. She is passionate about service excellence, food systems in Africa, reducing food loss and waste, and tacklingyouth/women unemployment through agriculture.

Her hobbies include reading, baking, and gardening.
