JR Farms CEO, Olawale to address Annual General Assembly at IFAD, Rome

Olawale Rotimi Opeyemi, the Founder and CEO of JR Farms, will be addressing the Annual General Assembly (AGA) of the Global Donor Platform for Rural Development (GDPRD) on rural youth employment at the International Fund for Agriculture Development, Rome, as global leaders, policymakers, and development gather in Rome to strengthen cooperation and proffer implementable solutions to challenges facing global food system.

The AGA will be enriched by discussion, including practical experiences from government, development partners, and youth perspectives, providing insight into their specific challenges as well as good practice examples. The discussion will focus on how to achieve a youth inclusive food system transformation. It will also provide insight on the roles of different stakeholders and what works in project implementation.

Among other global leaders, Olawale will be addressing the General Assembly on "Rural Youth Employment and Food Systems Transformation – Solutions in Times of (Multiple) Crisis" on June 15, 2022, between 11:00 - 12:30 Rome time. Through this platform, Olawale will be offering practical solutions and interventions that are primal to transformation of food systems in Africa, which will position Africa as a food systems leader championed by youth.
